Friends & Family

  1. Fern the Leopard (she/her) – Brave, quick, smart, sometimes shy or chatty, happy, sad, angry, etc
  2. Bella the Mouse (she/her) (Best Friend) – Chatty, quick, and sarcastic.  
  3. Tsunami the Purrmaid (ambiguous) (Best Friend) – Smart, old, wise, full of energy, and powerful.

    Purrmaids are half cat, half fish animals and live in any type of water. Tsunami is a river purrmaid that lives in the Amazon River. 
  4. Marsh the Caiman (he/him) (Family Friend) – Big, strong, protective, slow and optimistic
    A caiman is like an alligator, except fiercer and stronger, and lives in the Amazon. 
  5. Mama Leopard (she/her) – Worried, sweet, loving, quiet, and smart.
  6. Flower (she/her) (Cousin) – Always happy. 

    About about an inch tall, but still a leopard. Flower lives in a field called Flower’s Field. Her meadow is filled with different kinds of flowers and an occasional baby tree. Her house is inside a toadstool underneath some pieces of grass that she wove together. In addition to being Fern’s cousin, she is also Fern’s best friend.

  7. Grandpa Leopard (he/him) – Wise, thoughtful, partially deaf, and smart
  8. Brother Pine (he/him)  – Funny, fast tempered, full of energy, and smart
  9. Dada Leopard (he/him) – Fast tempered, funny, loud, and smart
  10. Toco The Toucan (he/him)  – Full of energy, excited, happy, talks a lot, and is dumb.
  11. Ana Monkey (She/her) – Smart, loud, full of energy, and sometimes sad.
  12. The Fireflies (they/them)  – Timothy (he/him) – Bright, dumb individually, smart collectively
  13. Shiny the Beetle (he/him) (from the short story) – Clever, tricky, funny, fun, and pretty.
  14. Patter the Panther (he/him) (from the short story) – Fun, angry, quiet, sneaky, and tricky.
  15. Finley the Shark (she/her) (from the short story) – Excited, big, beautiful, happy.
  16. The Pythons (minor) – Malika (friend), Greenla (sister), Marco (brother), Hemma (mom) and Boris (dad) (from the short story) – Graceful, quiet, great at climbing and beautiful.
  17. Trot the Turkey (he/him) (from the short story) – Courageous, proactive.
